Practices for Embodying Nonviolent Communication
In our complex modern lives, as we get caught up in reactions and stories, we can lose sight of natural and relaxed states of being, and it becomes more and more difficult to respond compassionately and effectively to what life presents. With practice comes a new freedom and confidence in how we express ourselves. This system of exploration reveals in us the historical and culturally embedded habits, myths and speech patterns that have shaped us and, at times, trip us up unknowingly. The more we gather ourselves and are accountable to the decisions we make, the more invested and focused we can be in what we do. The fundamental and recurring notion is that living fully in our bodies is essential for expressing ourselves verbally and nonverbally, for becoming effective leaders and for creatively leading our own lives. Participants learn to access an internal consensus within themselves– emotionally, intellectually, and intuitively- as a building block for creating consensus with others These workshops integrate linguistic, emotional and physical practices that provide a powerful foundation for self-mastery and for resolving conflicts in harmonious and productive ways.

Throughout this workshop you will build the capacity to quickly recover center and balance when challenged and fearful. This allows you to fully utilize your emotional resources to be open and inclusive, connect with your needs and the needs of others. Learning to embody your compassionate nature will become a fascinating personal journey of self-mastery and increase your ability to walk into the unknowns of life, love and learning with joy and wonder.
